Prior to joining Rippledot Capital, Derrick was part of Macquarie Capital’s Industrials group in Singapore where he worked on a broad range of M&A and equity raising transactions in Southeast Asia, mainly in the consumer and services sectors. He also co-founded three start-up companies in the food & beverage, technology and services industries.

“I always find ways to get things done, even if it means veering off the tried-and-tested route,” said Derrick, describing his work philosophy. “I don’t view businesses merely as numbers but as complex, living organisms made up of people.”
